Toyota because of good experiences within the family and literally every one I asked telling me they are the best cars. A yaris because of the non plugin hybrid technology, gpm and low tax because it is a B segment car that is not that heavy. A prius would be more expensive both in buying it, insurance and road tax.
An expensive hatch from Toyota is not gonna work . People would still but Toyota for it's long term durability and sustainability, wouldn't matter if expensive. Although it works independently, for Toyota's premium brand Lexus, they promise 500000 miles.
