Switched engine off and restarted same service vehicle soon message but full power then after a couple of miles engine management light on and back into limp mode. I drove to work and put code reader on and got P242D exhaust gas temperature sensor circuit high bank 1 sensor 3. I've cleared the code and I'll drive home tonight hopefully be ok.
How to reset the "Tire Pressure" light on a Suzuki Swift. In order to reset the warning light, we will have to start by going to sit in the driver's seat of our Suzuki Swift, and then start the engine. Once we have started the engine, we will have to get out of the vehicle and go to inflate the wheel with a compressor up to 2.5 bar (36 psi).
#1 Hi all, On my way home today, the engine management light came on and when i got home i rang the RAC and they came out and did the diagnostic Check, and it came up with PO500/24 Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction
My first cry for help. The code’s not in the manual and the service centre is closed all weekend. (Sorry if this has been asked before but the search function won’t allow me to find a short code with only two numbers.)
Then a few miles into my journey home, the dash came up saying that the AC was off due to high engine temperature. I checked my engine temp gauge, and it hadn't moved at all - and didn't move the entire 30 mile journey home (still in 1C). The engine didn't seem to be struggling, and we weren't overly warm in the car - and I never turn the AC on!
