There are 3 different heater configurations for the E70: Basic (with 6 flap motors), IHKA-2 zone (with 10 flap motors) and IHKA 4-zone (13 flap motors). The last configuration also means that an FKA (rear seat control panel), more air ducts are present and a separate rear blower motor is present. My E70 has 4-zone IHKA climate control.
smassey321. There are fuses in the hatch on the pass side under the cover. There are also fuses under the steering wheel. Each fuse block will have a white plastic/paper legend that shows the positions of specific fuses. The most likely cause is your pumps are bad. Your rear may have been bad for months and you did not notice.
Measures. If a defect in the area of a air distribution flap is suspected or if there is a fault code entry for an air distribution flap, the diagnosis of the air flap drive must be performed. Note. An obstruction detected within the area of an air distribution flap indicates a mechanical problem near the air distribution flap.
The BMW X5 heating system circulates hot coolant from the engine through the heater core. As the interior’s heating relies on the engine’s cooling system, checking the level of your coolant is the easiest place to start as a low coolant level may prevent coolant from reaching the heater core, and dirty coolant may be a sign of a clogged cooling system.
Looking for blower motor fuse , blower not working at all replaced the fsr still not working thought it could be fuse or the blower motor itself but cant find it the diagram says fuse for blower is number 68 but fuse box in the glove box ends at 67 and the one in the trunk all start in the 100 s.
While lighting setups play a vital role, it's equally crucial to match the model series. An FRM designed for an E90 won't gel with an E84 X1. Similarly, the E70 X5's FRM will clash with the E90's system. A nuanced example is the E87 5-door 1 Series version (except the MAX BROSE).
